  • At least 5-7 years of experience in B2B sales of enterprise software in the field of data and analytics software.
  • Understanding of modern data technologies.

    • Desirable:
    • Strong network in the financial sector (banks, insurance companies, FinTech) in Switzerland and/or France
    • Start-up or scale-up experience with a corresponding hands-on mentality
    • Knowledge of big data technologies and data engineering concepts

You’ll bridge pre-sales, technical account management, and professional services, designing solutions, deliver demos, and optimize deployments in on-prem, cloud, and hybrid environments. As a hands-on technologist and advocate, you’ll also represent Stackable at events, create thought-leading content, and engage with the open-source community to foster adoption and collaboration.

    • Technical Pre-Sales & Proof of Concept (PoC):
      Design and execute PoCs for or with customers, deliver demos (0–2/week), address technical questions, and collaborate with sales to drive adoption. Help customers optimize their solution architecture. Support deployments, performance tuning, and troubleshooting.

    • Technical Account Management & Customer Success:
      Build trusted relationships with customers, ensuring their success with the Stackable Data Platform. 

    • Partner Integrations & Enablement:
      Work with Cloud Service Providers (CSPs), technology ecosystem partners, and system integrators (SIs) to integrate Stackable into their offerings and empower them as trusted implementation and delivery partners.

    • Community Building:
      Build and nurture relationships with developers, data professionals, and open-source communities to foster collaboration and advocacy. Engage with our open-source community on GitHub, Discord or Reddit).

    • Event Representation, Public Speaking and Content Creation
      Be the passionate voice of our Stackable Data Platform, driving awareness, adoption, and community engagement. You will represent Stackable at industry events, deliver compelling presentations, and create thought-leading content to showcase the power and potential of our open-source data platform.

  • Hands-on experience with data platforms, cloud infrastructure, or distributed systems.

  • Experience with data streaming or data lakehouse solution architectures and how to implement them using the data applications of the Stackable Data Platform, in particular Apache Kafka, Apache NiFi, Apache Spark, OpenSearch, Apache Airflow, Trino and Apache Superset

  • Strong communication and technical account management skills.

  • Passion for open source, customer success, and partner enablement.

  • Willingness to travel: While this role is remote-first, occasional travel (approximately once per month) to visit customers, partners, or attend industry events is expected. We value in-person connections to strengthen relationships and showcase the Stackable Data Platform.
